Spaghetti with meatball and olive oil

  • 450g minced beef
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup parmesan
  • ⅛ cup milk
  • salt pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 c-a-chopped parsley
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs
    Sauce :
  • Olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 c-a-tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 large can of tomato coarsely chopped
  • 2 c-a-tomato sauce
  • Preparation of pellets
  • In a large bowl combine all ingredients.
  • Form small meatballs and refrigerate.
  • Prepare tomato sauce
  • Heat olive oil in a large pot.
  • Add the meatballs and brown on each side. Remove meatballs and set aside.
  • Add chopped onion and cook for approximately 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add chopped garlic cloves. Then add coarsely chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, salt, pepper and bay leaves.
  • Add water (a glass of water), cover and cook slowly for 30 minutes on low heat.
  • Add the meatballs and cook for 35min or until the meat is cooked.
  • Serve the meatballs with spaghetti and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
